Erika Lauren is the latest addition to "The Alan Cox" show who wears her heart on her sleeve and has always dreamed of making it big in the music industry. In May 2009,
Erika graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a degree in --you guessed it-- Music Business. After graduating, Erika nabbed a spot on
MTV's long standing reality show "The Real World" in Washington, DC. As a cast member of the show,
Erika performed on stage with a touring band, battled it out with roommates, and learned what not to say to complete strangers and all of America! So... she was on MTV's "The Real World." Yep, she's the girl singing in the "Parma State of Mind" YouTube video. Yup, Erika Lauren is that chick on "The Alan Cox Show," and she got the job on Twitter! Now what?!A Chicago native, Erika moved to Cleveland in 2010 for love, but she's definitely holding her own in a brand new city! She was even named one of Cleveland Magazine's "Most Interesting People of 2011" (Chad's still pondering that one)! When she's not deciding whether or not she wants Peyton Hillis to pee on her or trying to uncover what an inch matters, Erika enjoys working on her music career, whooping it up on East 4th with her pals, and singing the national anthem at local sporting events.
